USA: new Asian-inspired Low FODMAP Certified products

Asian cooking just got a lot easier if you live in the USA.

 

  

 

FODMAP Friendly announced earlier this week that the American company “San-J” received Low FODMAP Certification for a variety of products. Very exciting!

 

 

 

The lo-fo range includes Tamari Soy Sauces, Organic Shoyu, Asian Cooking Sauces and Rice Crackers.

 

Tamari Soy Sauces: the certified products are Tamari, Tamari Reduced Sodium, Tamari Lite 50% Less Sodium, Organic Tamari and Organic Tamari Reduced Sodium. All made without wheat and 100% soy.

 

 

 

Organic Shoyu Soy Sauce: this product is great for dipping or as a table condiment. “Organic Shoyu is brewed with soybeans and wheat resulting in a more aromatic sauce”.

 

 

 

Asian Cooking Sauces: the certified products are Gluten Free Hoisin Sauce, Gluten Free Mongolian Sauce, Gluten Free Thai Peanut Sauce, Gluten Free Szechuan Sauce and Gluten Free Teriyaki Sauce.

 

 

 

Rice Crackers: the soy sauce glazed crackers are backed, not fried. The certified products are Tamari Black Sesame – Brown Rice Crackers, Tamari Brown Sesame – Brown Rice Crackers and Teriyaki Sesame – Brown Rice Crackers.

 

 

 

The products are available on the “San-J” website (U.S. shipping) and in different outlets. We also spotted some of the products on Amazon.
