Israel’s most iconic snack is Low FODMAP

“Bamba” is without a doubt the most famous and loved Israeli snack. Basically, it’s safe to say that it will be pretty hard to find Israeli babies, children and adults who dislike it.

This sweet-salty treat is made from peanuts. To add some “healthiness”, the makers also included some vitamins, folic acid and iron.

The well-known FODMAP dietitian, Melbourne-based Joanna Baker, analysed Bamba, upon The FODMAP Talk’s request.

Needless to say, we were thrilled to hear the results; Bamba is indeed Low FODMAP.

Bamba could be found not only in Israel. It is widely available in Kosher sections at supermarkets around the world and it's even on Amazon.

Give it a go and let us know what you think!
