More interesting Low FODMAP updates from MonashU

Monash University continues to spoil us with Christmas gifts this week.

 

Three additional food items were added to their app, which were tested and found to be low FODMAP – depending on their serving size, as usual.

 

The new items are: kohlrabi, snakebeans and mixed peel.

 

 

 

 

Kohlrabi: this yummy vegetable is Low FODMAP in one serving, which is one cup, chopped.

 

Snakebeans / yardlong bean: this Asian green is Low FODMAP in one serving, which is one cup, chopped.

 

Mixed peel, citrus fruits: this sweet treat is categorized under the processed fruit section. It is Low FODMAP in one serving, which is one third of a cup.
