New FODMAP findings regarding broccoli and broccolini
Monash University recently reported about new findings regarding FODMAPs in both broccoli and broccolini. The university’s labs tested broccolini and re-tested broccoli and found some interesting results.
The information was divided into three categories: the whole vegetable, heads only and stalks only.

In one cup serve, broccoli as a whole vegetable is low FODMAP; the heads only are also low FODMAP; however, the stalks by themselves are high FODMAP.

The main issue with both broccoli and broccolini is excess fructose, so take that into consideration when adding those vegetables into your dishes.
