Low FODMAP certified pickles and sauerkraut are now officially available. “FODMAP Friendly” recently announced that the Australian company “Lewis & Son” received the world’s first certification for sauerkraut and pickles.
The sauerkraut is unpasteurized and gluten-free. It is a great addition to any BBQ meal and matches perfectly with sausages or grilled fish, to name a few.
The pickles are made from non-GMO cucumbers, which are grown with no chemical fertilisers or pesticides in the Barossa Valley, northeast of Adelaide, in South Australia.
As with many lo-fo products, it is important to make sure to eat within the recommended serving size.
