Low FODMAP Eats: “Loveat” / Tel Aviv
14 Jan 2018

We shared The Asian Salad, which except for the dressing was fully Low FODMAP. The salad contains tofu / chicken strips over rice noodles, carrots, red quinoa, cherry tomatoes, avocado, fresh coriander, roasted peanuts and Asian ginger-lime dressing.

As it was still pretty early, we had it with tofu. Also, as we shared the dish I wasn't too worried about the avocado serving size, which slightly exceeded the Low FODMAP threshold.

I asked for the dressing on the side and the lovely staff member suggested adding another dressing for me – a mix of olive oil and lemon.

The salad was very generous in size, fresh and really delicious. It was 46 ILS (about 13.5 USD), which is very reasonable.

For me, no brunch is complete without coffee. So I had to have their almond milk latte (read all about my TLV coffee discovery here).

All in all - Loveat is a great FODMAP friendly spot in Tel Aviv.

For the first time ever, we let go.

Our son stayed the night at Daniel’s parents and we had a solid 20 hours to ourselves. And oh… it was a treat.

We slept in, we had our coffee in bed and we just talked and listened. A second honeymoon, some might say.

For a lazy brunch we decided to visit “Loveat” In Central Tel Aviv (the Barzilay St. branch).

Loveat is a cute health-conscious café with delicious, wholesome food and beautiful coffee.
